Summary / Abstract:

ENThe author reviews the issues of improving and recreating children in Ukraine and abroad in the summer. The analysis of international documents of the presented problem, on the basis of which laws and regulations in all countries of Europe are created. The actual material of the given study is the legislative documents regulating the process of rest and recreation in the Republic of Lithuania. As a result of the application of comparative analysis of the normative legal basis of Ukraine and the Republic of Lithuania, the conclusion about the insufficient development of the system of recreation and health improvement in Ukraine. The reason for this is the lack of mechanisms for state support for economic stimulation of the activity of children’s health and recreation facilities. The article analyzes the main documents used by the Republic of Lithuania to provide recreational services for children in the summer. The types of institutions providing the offered services are found out. The approaches to the summer health improvement campaign in the Republic of Lithuania are also analyzed. The emphasis is placed on the fact that the European society sets clear requirements for the organization of children’s health and recreation. The main internal problem of the health improvement system in Ukraine is the underfunding of this sector by the state, while the external disadvantage is the inadequate support of the European Union caused by non-compliance with clear requirements for the organization of health improvement.Thus, the author proved the urgency and importance of scientific research. As a result, the conclusion is drawn about the adoption of the experience of organizing recreation in Europe, namely the Lithuanian Republic. It is noted that the solution of the given problem requires the prompt introduction of modern European standards. As a result, on the background of favorable environmental conditions, health and recreation of children in Ukraine will reach the international level of development.
