LT1922–1939 metai buvo Vilniaus žydų klestėjimo laikas. Prieš karą Vilniuje žydai sudarė trečdalį gyventojų. Jie dėjosi į įvairias politines, švietimo, kultūros, paramos našlaičiams ir senyviems žmonėms organizacijas. Savo veiklai skelbti draugijos leido reklaminius leidinukus. Šioje knygoje spausdinamos 1926–1939 metais Vilniuje išleistų afišų, brošiūrų, lankstinukų faksimilės su aprašymais lenkų ir anglų kalbomis.

ENThe posters, flyers and advertisements from the holdings of the National Library of Poland presented in this volume were printed in Warsaw in the years 1918–1919, 1922–1923, and 1925–1939. Reports, statutes, occasional bulletins, as well as a large number of flyers published by Jewish political, social, educational and charitable organisations from Warsaw, have been presented in previous catalogues. In this volume, for the first time we bring readers printed materials which survived the Holocaust, advertising Jewish shops, restaurants, bars, craft enterprises and tailor shops. They are an illustration of Jewish daily life in the Polish capital during the interwar period. Bilingual Polish-English publication is an important part of a meaningful book series published by National Library documenting everyday life of Jewish community in interwar Poland.
