Archeologinių radinių kelias į Kauno miesto muziejų

LTŠiame straipsnyje trumpai pristatomas Kauno miesto muziejaus archeologijos fondas: kada jis pradėtas kaupti, iš kur ir kokie radiniai kaupiami Kauno miesto muziejaus archeologijos fonde, kokios yra archeologijos fondo plėtros perspektyvos. Taip pat aprašomas procesas, kuriuo archeologiniai radiniai patenka į Kauno miesto muziejaus fondus – pradedant archeologiniais tyrimais, baigiant individualių žmonių atstitiktinai rastomis archeologinėmis vertybėmis. Toliau nagrinėjamos problemos, su kuriomis susiduriama radinių priėmimo proceso metu, pavyzdžiui, atsitiktinės archeologų klaidos, neinventorizuotų radinių problema, individualių žmonių noras pristatyti archeologines vertybes tiesiai į muziejų bei su tuo susijusios problemos. Pabaigoje pristatomi išskirtiniai pastarųjų metų archeologiniai radiniai, patekę į Kauno miesto muziejaus archeologijos fondus per pastaruosius keletą metų, tokie kaip XIV a. upeivio inkaras, Santakos lobis ir kt. ENThis article briefly presents the Archaeological Fund of Kaunas City Museum.The process by which archaeological finds enter the museum’s funds is described. Furthermore, the problems that are the most commonly encountered by museologists in accepting archaeological exhibits into museum collections are described. Finally, the exclusive archaeological finds of recent years, which have been included in the archeological funds of Kaunas City Museum, are presented. The first part presents the archaeology fund of Kaunas City Museum, when it started to be collected, from where and what finds are stored in the archaeology fund of Kaunas City Museum, what are the development perspectives of the archaeology fund. The second part describes the process by which archaeological finds enter the funds of Kaunas City Museum, starting with archaeological research and ending with archaeological values accidentally found by individual people.The documentation process that turns an archaeological value into part of the archaeological fund is described. The third part analyses the problems encountered in the process of accepting finds, such as the accidental mistakes of archaeologists, the problem of non-inventoried finds, the desire of individuals to present archaeological values directly to the museum, and related problems. The last, fourth part, presents the most interesting archaeological finds that have entered the archaeological funds of Kaunas City Museum during the last few years, such as the boatman’s anchor of the 14th century, Santaka’s treasure, etc.
